Schmidty Arcade – S1 is great for 90% of people, maybe more. It comes with enough hardware to run all the classic games. Everything you can imagine from Mame, FB Neo, Neo Geo, NES, Super Nintendo, Sega, TurboGrafx, Atari, Gameboy, etc. It actually has several higher end games from Play Station, N64, and more. The more advanced versions PS and N64 will require higher computer specs and storage, so they are more prevalent on the S2 and S3. More than 1,000 games in total on the S1. Surely enough to fit anyone’s needs.

Schmidty Arcade – S2 is great from those that want a little more hardware for games with greater demand. Still has all the retro games but adds in a lot more advanced games like Dreamcast and Gamecube. The more physics and better graphics, the better computer and better memory to store all those games. Depending on the build, we offer a clean 10k game list. Also, a fully decked out 20k game list. To be honest though, who’s going to play all those games.

Schmidty Arcade – S3 is top of the line. Just over 20k games in the standard build. Best hardware we have with an active cooling system. You’ll have the most success running some of the most advanced games on this system. But, if you’re just into retro arcade games, the S1 is the place to be. If you feel like you are more into the Mario Kart type games, which can be more demanding, the S2 is the way to go. If you want it all, go with the S3.

User Interface

1-Year Warranty comes with every purchase.

3-Year Extended Warranty is available for an additional cost.

Tech Support is available for those that want to dive into the configurations and fully customize their machine. This is not for everyone, but we do offer it. Think of this as adding a turbo charger or a lift kit to a truck. For the vast majority of us, it works as intended right out of the box and comes with an instruction guide.

Accessories

LED Backlighting is great for a vibrant look. Many arcades incorporate this feature, but it’s optional with Schmidty Arcades.

Pair of Controllers that have been mapped and tested to be compatible. These are great additions if you are thinking about a S2 or S3 arcade as they will have more racing games and shooting games.

Pair of Sinden Lightguns are great for those shooter games. They work out of the box and are plug and play. Think, Duck Hunter on NES, and much more.
